History
Diers Corporation was started in1874 by the first generation dairy man Herman Diers, who came to the United States from Germany a few years before, he then traveled to Minnesota in search of water and good land, he decided that 45 min from the Twin Cities was the perfect spot. He farmed until his son took it over. Although the great depression hit hard and the dairy was down to just a few cows, the farm recovered and the legacy continued. Diers Corporation is owned by the 5th generation who continue to milk 250 cows and farm 1,000 acres to this day.
Future
The fifth generation hopes to pass on the dairy to one of the 6th generation daughters. Diers Corp has the capacity to hold up to 500 milking animals and hopes to continue to buy and rent crop land. Faithfull Farmhers was started by the 6th generation children who promote not only the dairy but also all aspects of Agricultural life, on their Instagram.
